FinTok. Finfluencers. Whatever you want to call them, the rise of influencers blurring the lines on financial advice is hard to ignore. Yesterday it all came to a head with Kim Kardashian’s ‘misleading’ promo of crypto, leading to the FCA warning against falling for the “hype” influencers create around cryptocurrencies. This leads us to a bigger question…what role (if any) should influencers have in the financial sphere?
